The wedding celebrations will take place November 12–15, 2026. However, the hotel has generously extended special room rates for our guests from November 11 through November 17. This means you are welcome to arrive a day early or stay a few extra days to relax and enjoy Zihuatanejo before or after the wedding weekend.

Yes! We’re planning a sunset boat celebration the day before the wedding so we can kick off the weekend together and other fun activities. More details will be shared closer to the date, but expect beautiful views, great music, and a fun way to celebrate together before the big day.

While we absolutely love your little ones, our wedding weekend will be an adults-only celebration. Our venue is not particularly kid-friendly, as it sits along cliffs with open access to the ocean and pool areas. For safety reasons, and to allow everyone to fully relax and enjoy the celebration, we kindly ask that guests arrange childcare for the weekend. Our hope is that this gives everyone the opportunity to let loose, celebrate, and enjoy a fun getaway together. Thank you so much for understanding.

Our wedding style is elevated tropical / beach formal. Think: Linen suits or light suits for men. Flowing dresses, summer formal, or tropical chic for women. Breathable fabrics like linen, cotton, chiffon, or silk. The goal is to look great, feel comfortable, and always slay. A few things to keep in mind: The reception will take place outdoors near the pool area, so there’s a chance things might get a little splashy!

November is a beautiful time to visit the area. Expect warm tropical weather with average temperatures around 82–88°F (28–31°C) during the day and around 70–72°F (21–22°C) in the evening. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so we recommend dressing in light, breathable fabrics that keep you cool while still looking fabulous.

Yes. The ceremony will take place at Capilla de Cerro De Vigia, about 30 minutes from Cala de Mar, and transportation will be provided for guests staying at the resort. Shuttles will pick up guests at Cala de Mar, take everyone to the chapel for the ceremony, and return guests to Cala de Mar for the reception.

Guests should fly into Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International Airport, which is approximately 20–25 minutes from Cala de Mar. Most flights will include one connection depending on your departure city.

Mexico uses the Mexican Peso (MXN). However, many places in tourist areas accept credit cards and U.S. dollars. We recommend bringing a small amount of pesos for taxis, tips, and small purchases.

For guests arriving early or staying longer, the area offers beautiful beaches, boat excursions, snorkeling, great restaurants, and charming local markets. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a tropical getaway.
